So since my dance class switched from Wednesday to Tuesday, Plouffe is letting me skip Tuesday night band rehearsals, which means I don't have to switch dance classes. =]  This also means that come March try-outs for Company, I can move up to Junior Company. I don't have to aim for Senior, and I don't have to stay in Co. III. Yesss. =]

And I got amazingly awesome shirts yesterday. ♥

So I get to have Christmas today. We only hit up the grandparents on the actual Christmas, so we're doing ours here today and having seafood for dinner. I'm pretty excited. =]

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, I haven't exactly been near a computer. Well, an un-hillbilly one. Was at my grandmother's for Christmas and they live in redneckville. Was good though. I love it up there regardless. It's way better than here.

So bad news. They're switching my dance class day to Tuesday nights. I have band Tuesday nights. That's why I couldn't do Junior Company this past year, because that is also on Tuesday nights. Mr. Plouffe better let me not do Tuesday nights, if not I'll probably end up quitting band because dance is my passion and band can kiss me, I've never liked it. And my mom doesn't like the idea of me in chorus, for whatever reason I don't know but she's set on my not doing it. All I know is that dance is my number one priority and its going to work out the way I want it to. If not, im out.

Wow. So I just realized I never told you this haha. Okay so you remember how Courtney from my dance class sprained her ankle (Yes, it was sprained not broken.) at Friday night recital? Well, our first week back at class, Laura, also from my class, sprained hers too. It was only her, me, and our friend Shaina in class, and our regular teacher couldn't make it so it was only our assistant teacher Breana (the owner's daughter, my cousin's cousin..yeah its confusing so I won't try to explain it but just know she's not MY cousin.) that was there to teach us. She's usually really strict and calm like her mom, but she was wicked hyper that night, it was funny lol. There were only three of us out of like 13. Pretty sad.

So, we were doing leaps and such, and Breana decided to teach us a new one. Well, as we went to do them one at a time across the room, Laura went first. It looked like she did it fine, but then right after I looked away, I heard more noise than there was supposed to be. I looked over, and she's sliding into the wall, definitely not what's supposed to happen. Breana got so nervous, Laura was crying I felt so bad.
It took a couple seconds for it to settle in before me Shaina and Breana kicked into action. I went over to Laura to try and comfort her, Shaina went to get the ice pack, and Breana went for the phone and the book for Laura's number. We were asking her what happened after we finally got in touch with Laura's mom and she said she heard a crack, so we thought it was broken.

For like 5-10 minutes we were waiting for her mom just talking, Laura was acting completely normal, she's my idol, I would've been balling lol. Breana felt so bad she was like "I broke you, I'm sorry!" and once she was like "Don't press charges!" as a joke to get us laughing during a silence, lol. We were talking about all different stuff, and how it would've been if there was a full class, aaalll different stuff. Breana was like "No one's going to trust me now!" we were like oh yeah come on lol.

Once Laura's mom got there, we found out Laura could put some weight on her ankle, so we knew it was probably just sprained, but it was bad because we had seen it start to swell like a minute after it happened. By the time her mom was there, it was HUGE and black and blue, oooouuch.

Lol, after Laura left, Breana said to me and Shaina, "I think we'll sit for the rest of class. Don't get up." Of course we didn't, but she was paranoid the whooole time.

So, now we're short TWO girls in class due to sprained ankles. Jeez, lol.

So I just watched the movie "In Love and War" and it was pretty amazing. I'm glad we bought it. =]

I cannot wait for Christmas. I already know what I'm getting so it doesn't matter, but I get too see my cousin Jacqui's five month old daughter Meghan on Christmas night at our Memere's. Exciting for me. She's sooooooo adorable. Jacqui AND the baby. Lol. I get to see rest of my family too, I don't usually get to see them. Going to my other grandmother's house for Christmas Eve and traveling the 3 hours back that night in time for my Memere's. Can't wait!

Happy Thanksgiving!

So yeah I never updated about Sunday show. It went fine, I wasn't late for any dances, I messed up minorly in Crazy Frog, messed up the very beginning of the Hit the Road Jack kickline, which ticks me off like no other because I've NEVER missed that kickline before, EVER, and basically that's it. Alex still didn't do all of the dances but I don't blame her because a lot of other people were sick too. Mackenzie went home early she felt sick.

After the show I saw all the senior girls crying and all their sisters too, like kelsey who's in my class. It was her sister's last recital and kelsey's never had a recital without her sister so she was bawling. It was my cousin Carly's last recital and so after I cried from seeing everyone else crying, I gave her a hug before we left. Saw my Memere too, she goes on the Sunday show so that she can watch everyone she knows dance.

And then after the show Company III went to Chelos, jeez, funnnnyyyyy times. Also depressing because I realized it'll be the only time this group will go out after a recital. Stupid freaking auditions in March. Long explanation for why I'm not looking forward to them but that's for later.

Friday night recital went so bad lol. Courtney sprained her ankle, Alex has mono so she only did half of her dances so she didn't start puking or fainting lol, I was late for a dance so I had to hop onstage after it even begun, and in that same dance my headpiece was on the wrong side, I messed up a few other times but deff not as noticable, and my candle for RENT (the opening) broke while we were packing up.

Today I got a new candle, collided with Lauren in opening, collided with Kristen in ballet, Lauren fell down on her but in Hit the Road Jack (lol!!!!!! It was cuuuutue!), I messed up in crazy frog, and I mixed up my dances and rolled out of a turn around leap like in opening instead of just stopping in jazz, and I messed up a few other little things, still, nothing too noticable. I did however, only have ONE DANCE to change into completely different outfits, shoes included! I was going sooooo fast - I took off the top of one outfit, and while I'm pulling on the dress for the next, my mom is pulling off the pants of the other one, and while im putting my tap shoes on, she's putting my hair piece on. Omg so crazy lol.

BUT: Me and Gabby got our special leg part right (don't ask, but just know we nailed it lol), I was ON TIME for all my dances lmao, I didn't break my second candle!, and I get my five year trophy! Yay! OH! Oh! And my mom and I couldve gotten a discount at Burger King because my cousin Bethany is the manager but she wasn't working tonight, she was yesterday though, go figure.

My cousin Carly, yeah, its her last recital, and I was like the LAST to find this out even though shes MY cousin. Lol w/e, when'll things change?

I've got to go take this gay make-up off, and don't ever wear fake eyelashes, they are SO annoying! Major headache too, fun stuff. 8:30 church mass tomorrow, I HAVE to go its mandatory since I'm in confirmation, so I have to go before recital, blah.

I hope all my mess-ups got out theses past two nights because tomorrow the guy who tapes it for the DVD comes in, and that's what basically everyone gets. I hope I do good, wish me luck!

Dude! Yesss!! I am in school right now, first block, 8:40 a.m. (ew) in Money Matters. We're in the library, and I'm all done with my work lol. Of course they blocked all the game websites but they forgot livejournal!!! Haha, it makes me laugh. So yeah, my days been good so far. I feel much better than yesterday, so thats amazing.

I'm sorryyyyy. I've been sick and busy and busy and sick. Right now my throat hurts when I swallow, my head hurts when I think, my nose annoys me when I breathe, and my neck and shoulders hurt when I move. So as you can tell, I can't do anything about my sickness problems other than taking my meds and poppin my pills... or just taking my advil ever morning and night lol.

As for the busy part, I can't help that much either. I'm SO glad its a new quarter, the pressure's not as bad anymore. I've started writing my story again because I've got the time yayyyy!! The livejournal is scarlette_story for those of you who want to read it who don't know it already. It's coming along well I think.

I haven't been getting a lot of homework lately which is much appreciated for three reasons. 1. Because I'm sick. 2. Because it's THANKSGIVING NEXT WEEK YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! and 3. Because my dance recital is this weekend. Tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday. Should be fun with my head hurting and such. I'll just have to bring some advil with me, just in case I start going cahrazy.

I raked stranger's houses all this morning. My hands are soooore. Lots of old movies are on TV lately. Like Freaky Friday and My Date with the President's Daughter and Model Behavior. I cannot wait for my recital next weekend. I am so excited!!!!! Dress rehearsal on Sunday went well, too. I'm so glad that I haven't mixed up any dances. It's kind of a big jump going from 3 dances a year for four years to 11 all of a sudden. Haha. Five year trophy this year though, that's extremely exciting! And the 9 costumes sitting in my closet are taking up a whole crapload of space. I think I'm going to put them into Katie's closet. That's what I do with my band uniform, lol.

I would absolutely looooooooove it if everyone else added me here. xD

School is pretty gay. I've got 318408464069804686815 things to do and I don't know if I can handle it all.
